		In foreground, Steve and Becky Zinke, Corning, Iowa, bought the lot1, registered Black Hereford bull, BJH Balder 7504, number HB 000001, a 3/4-blood, for $4600
		Joe and Norma Hoagland of the J&N Ranch at Leavenworth welcomed a packed sale pavilion of buyers from six states to their 10th annual sale and first featured offering of registered Black Hereford bulls, as Col. Stanley Stout (right) briefed the group on the background of the American Black Hereford Association registry.
		Rex and Richard Buckhaults, Ellisville, Miss., bought the lot 11 and lot 15 registered Black Hereford bulls, plus three heifers bred to Black Hereford bulls at the J&N Ranch.
		Dwight Ohlde, formerly of Washington County, but now making his home at Leavenworth, was specifically interested in the heifers bred to registered Black Hereford bulls offered.
	Terry Lynn McDougald (right), Apple Springs, Texas, bought the lot 6 and lot 10 Black Hereford bulls. Jesse McDougald is on the left.
	Ralph Boehm and Bill Payne from Olathe looked over the Black Hereford bull offering before the start of the production sale.
