Gunbarrel Ranch: Native Grass Pasture Land

The historic Gunbarrel Ranch consists of more than 5000 contiguous acres of native grass in the heart of the Kansas Flint Hills.

Located near Eskridge, Kansas, it is the home of summer cattle grazing. Considered to have some of the world's finest pasture land, the ranch consists of primarily grass and barbed wire. The ranch's cattle pens have a capacity of 2,000 head.

At its highest point on Gunbarrel Hill, there are three separate water sheds that flow out from the ranch. Its nearest neighbor is in a different telephone area code. It has 27 miles of fence.

Although most of the cattle belong to the company, the ranch does custom grazing in Kansas for other owners when the ranch has extra capacity.
